Acer announce the Iconia A1: iPad Mini sized tablet with 3G on a budget!

Acer are back with another budget tablet today and this time it's the Iconia A1! This is a 7.9" tablet which offers what you want for insanely low prices!

The spec sheet is pretty solid: there's that 7.9-inch 1024 x 768p display which is backed up by a  1.2GHz quad-core processor and 8 or 16 GB of internal storage. Other than that you'll get a 5MP rear camera, a microSD slot, Wi-Fi, optional 3G, Bluetooth 4.0 and a connections in the shape of a microUSB and a microHDMI port!

Acer have yet to confirm what software this will be running, but we're still putting our bets on Android Jelly Bean, although we don't know which version it will be just yet! The main thing here though is how much all of that will cost, because that's the draw of this tablet! The Wi-Fi only version will arrive for £149.99 (about $220), and the 3G counterpart will get you back £209.99 (around $287), both prices are insanely reasonable!
