EE announce new 30 SIM-only plans before rivals get 4G networks up and running!

EE are still in the great and slightly unfair position of being the only company to offer 4G data in the UK because they made use of their existing spectrum to launch 4G a bit earlier than all of the other mobile networks in the UK, who had to wait for the 4G auction to secure some radiowaves.

Until now EE have been a bit reluctant to offer short term SIM-only contracts, instead they've offered 12 month SIM-only contracts. As you can see from the image below EE have put a £2 premium on the monthly cost of these 30 day plans compared to their 12 month counterparts, but this could be a great option for anyone who doesn't want the long commitment of contracts!
