Google give their biggest hint yet that Android 4.3 is on the way in their new GMail ad!

The announcement that there was a new GMail with a tabbed interface was only made a couple of hours ago and we covered in briefly here, but the super attentive eyes of Marques Brownlee have spotted that there is more in this little advert than first meets the eye!

On a post over his G+ page Brownlee pointed out that the clock time used in various adverts in the past has pointed us to the version of Android which is running on the handsets in the video and today's GMail demo shows us something quite interesting. As you can see in the screenshot above the time comes up as 4:30 in the top right of the devices screen and Brownlee says that in:
"Android 2.3 Gingerbread videos use 2:30 as the time.
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich videos use 4:00 as the time.
Android 4.1 Jellybean videos use 4:10 as the time.
Android 4.2 Jellybean videos use 4:20 as the time."
So does this all mean that Android 4.3 is nearly upon us? Let us know if you think it's nearly here in the comments below! For those of you who want proof that the theory is true then here is a teaser of the Nexus 4 and as you can see the time is indeed 4:20, click to enlarge the picture!
