Samsung's Mega 5.8: Rumoured specs from SamMobile.

At the moment it seems like Samsung are releasing a new phone every week and it seems they pretty much are. This time the guys over at SamMobile received the specifications of a device which have been much rumoured lately, which are supposedly part of the 'Galaxy Mega' range.

The first of these devices is meant to be the Galaxy Mega device, the Galaxy Mega 5.8, with the model number GT-I9152 it is set to be be a high-end DUOS smartphone. To that end there is rumoured to be a 5.8” qHD that's 960×540p pixels spread across a TFT LCD display. The cameras will be a bit better than the screen with an 8 mega-pixel rear and a 2 mega-pixel front camera set up. The processor is rumoured to be a dual-core chipset with a 1.4 GHz clock speed. This is set to be working in tandem with an odd one and a half gigabytes of RAM. The battery powering this device is set to be 2600mAh in capacity and one of the versions of Android Jelly Bean will be cloaked with Samsung's Nature UX. There's the standard Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS set-up.

This device would be a nice upgrade to Samsung's current Galaxy Grand which heads up the DUOS line. If and when this rumour is proven or disproved we'll be sure to let you know. In the mean time let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
