  • Blackberry have confirmed that devices running BB7 will be headed to emerging markets whereas BB10 devices will be the contenders in the developed markets! That doesn't exclude BB10 from emerging markets, but that's a safe assumption to go with for the time being!

  • Saudi Arabia has threatened to ban WhatsApp, Viber, Skype and other similar services because they don't allow the government to keep an eye on what people are saying and they therefore don't meet the countries rules!

  • For those of you rocking your Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note II you can hopefully expect Android 4.2.2 to land on your phone around May or June!
  • Apple have been told to resubmit an application for the iPad Mini name. The iPad bit is fine, but the Mini bit is too descriptive to be approved, so they need to rethink their justifications, or they could just carry on rocking the name and not worry too much about the Mini bit, because everyone knows it's an iPad!

  • Is Apple planning to launch iRadio?! According to the Verge's sources a service that will compete with Pandora is very likely to appear this summer!

  • TheNextWeb are reporting a problem that certain iOS developers have been encountering lately, basically it is a DoS attack through iMessage, which could be slightly more serious than the mere 'annoying' tag, which it has at the moment. Check out the sourcelink for more details!

  • Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean has landed for the Samsung Galaxy Ace II and it's arriving in phases so don't be too disheartened if it wasn't available OTA or on Samsung Kies right away!

  • If you wanted the 64GB version of the HTC One in the USA then you'll have to invest in a contract with AT&T because they have an exclusive on that version of the phone!

  • You can now pick up your Raspberry Pi Model A for $25 in the USA! It's now available in the USA, Europe and Asia!

  • Lenovo are shaping up to produce their own mobile processors! This might not have a huge impact here in the West, but it'll be huge for people in the Far East!

And finally, Swiftkey have also offered up a pretty good April Fools day video! The guys have unveiled Swiftkey Tilt, the concept would allow you to type by tilting your phone. We admit it'd be pretty cool if they could do it, but that's a technology for another day!
