What happens when Instagram lands on Android?

IOS fans, now you know how the Android mob do... Not content with hitting 1 million downloads in the first 24 hours of Instagrams availability, today it has been announced that the app has hit 5 million downloads in 6 days, so it looks like Android is going to catch up with iOS' 30million users before the month is out!

Maybe this has something to do with the added publicity of being bought by Facebook, maybe it doesn't either way, these are impressive figures for an app that is new to Android! One of the top 10 biggest app launches in Android's short history. Maybe this is why Facebook was happy to plump up $1billion dollars.

How's the Nokia Lumia 900 doing?

With Nokia and Window Phones' futures at stake the launch of Nokia's American flagship the Lumia 900 is a bit of an all or nothing. The company has chosen to sell the phone at $99 on a two-year contract which really is quite cheap compared to the competition.

Amazon however, has decided to offer the phone for $49.99 with the compulsory two-year agreement and the device has gone straight to the top of their sales chart, despite some reported issues with 4G connectivity. If you are having these issues though a reset is suggested and that should be you sorted, if not pop back to your local AT&T shop and you can have a newer, new device.
