The new Samsung Galaxy (?) teased and Vodafone confirm they will have it!





   So Samsung's counter on the next Galaxy superphone teaser and the release was that lovely video you see above. Yeah, it had the poke at Apple which is pretty much a forgone conclusion when you consider Samsung's recent bunch of ads. Other than that just give it a watch it's good stuff.

   As well as that Vodafone UK were straight out the blocks announcing that they would be carrying the upcoming phone and this screen grab is shown below. For those of you on Vodafone who can't wait to get your hands on the unannounced phone irrespective of its innards can register your interest on Voda's website via this link!

In other news:

  • Three (3) UK ends business contract sales. The company reported that only 0.5% of its sales are to business and has stopped doing business deals altogether to focus solely on mainstream customers and their satisfaction.
  • Verizon drops the price of the Galaxy Nexus to $199 with a two-year agreement.
  • LG Optimus 3D Mxx launches in Europe.
  • ST-Ericsson have reportedly teamed up with HTC to create budget chipsets for HTC's low-end smartphones.
  • Sony Xperia P and U landing in the UK on the 28th of March.
  • Skype for Windows Phone leaves Beta but it's still slightly disappointing and feels somewhat half-hearted and rushed. Get it now from the Windows Phone marketplace.
