T-Mobile USA have today announced that they will be bringing an upcoming Windows Phone 8 device to the USA! The Nokia Lumia 810 is a solid device featuring a 4.3" ClearBlack OLED screen, interchangeable wireless charging shells and an 8MP Carl Ziess shooter, and that's just for starters!
Nokia have reiterated their focus on camera technology with this device too, with the inclusion of photo-editing software such as Cinemagraph, which helps you make animated GIFs and an app called GroupShoot which lets you pick the best face for each of your friends from a set of quickly taken photos, so there won't be any issues with blinking at the wrong time! There's also a 1.2MP HD front-facing shooter, something which earns the device 'Skype-HD' certification! As well as Nokia's fantastic Music service, which will give you access to online and offline music playback for free, Nokia Drive, Nokia City Lens and of course Nokia Maps! Nokia Drive is the company's turn by turn navigation system, Nokia Maps is well erm maps and Nokia City Lens is a new GPS and camera service which lets you look around through the camera and it'll show you tags of where businesses are! It's an interesting idea, but we're not sure quite how useful it is yet!
Nokia has gone out of their way to offer a compelling alternative to AT&T's Windows Phone 8 monopoly here, but this is essentially the Lumia 820, under another name and running on another network! But, T-Mobile are offering themselves as a compelling option these days with their new Unlimited 4G plans! Interested? Let us know in the comments below!
