The series will launch on March the 16th and 17th, which is only a couple of weeks off and the series will be called Angry Birds Toons!
We've known that this has been in the works for some time now, but this will give us a chance to see more of the Angry World which Rovio has in their minds. Perhaps Rovio will even go as far as telling us why there is so much tension between the birds and pigs in the first place, or what the pigs plan on doing with those eggs!
The only strange thing here is that this won't be a conventional cartoon in that you won't watch it on your TV, well unless you share it from your mobile device. The series will only be available to watch on your smartphone or tablet, perhaps this had something to do with the delay since the intended launch last November.
For those of you who can't wait there's the little teaser below and then after that we will be treated to 52 episodes per year, but each episode will last only a few minutes. After the cartoon has been going for a few years we can expect to see the official Angry Birds movie in 2016, which will be directed by Despicable Me‘s John Cohen!
