Alcatel announce the One Touch Idol X!

After a huge range of new phones shown off at CES earlier this year, Alcatel have brought a few more devices to MWC! The first of which is the One Touch Idol X. It's a 7mm thick device which crams in a full 1080p HD display into that frame!

Around the screen there's a nice thin 2.4mm bezel which makes this phone as skinny as possible given the 5" screen size. The 1080p panel is of the IPS variety and those people who have had hands on have said it is fantastic. On other fronts the phone offers a quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor running at 1.2GHz, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and a whole host of different configuration options.

The device can come inwith your choice of 13 or 8-megapixel rear-cameras, both of those configurations will have both with 1080p front cameras paired with them and like always with Alcatel you can have either single or dual-sim varieties. The single sim option adds a microSD slot! The either way the device will be powered by a 2,000mAh battery and the mobile connection will be HSPA+ only, so no LTE here!

Alcatel also re-announced their One Touch Star which we covered here!
